Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using cromu ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

cromu is a crochet project management app that allows you to:

• Track stitch and row counts for crochet projects
• Manage yarn information and pattern files
• Use creative tools such as pixel art generator and pattern designer
• Record project photos and notes

All data is stored locally on your device. The App does not require an internet connection for core functionality.

3. User Content

You retain all rights to the content you create within the App, including projects, patterns, photos, and pixel art designs. We do not access, collect, or claim ownership of your content.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for backing up your data. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or networks

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding (name, logo, icons), is the property of the cub labs and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: Displays advertisements within the App. Ad interactions are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data to improve the App. You can opt out in Settings.

We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the cub labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
